The pattern comes in a lovely packaging.

    What's in it?

-The pattern, of course! As long as you stick to the table matching what size to cut and what your measurments are, you'll get a nice fit. The pattern is in real size and the seam allowance is already included : I love that!

-And two leaflets, one in French and one in English. Both of these leaflets have very clear written instructions as well as drawings showing what you have to do. As always with Deer and Doe, even if you are a beginner (and I am one), you will be able to sew without getting lost in the instructions. I actually feel spoilt whenever I sew a Deer and Doe pattern because Eleonore seems to put a lot of work and energy in making patterns that make you happy to sew even if you are not good at it in the first place.

    The dress :

It is lovely and easy to wear with either tights or leggings, the empire waist conceals a lot (some may say you look like you're pregnant, but actually you don't! well, I mean, I look like I'm pregnant at all times, and it doesnt make things worse).

The pin tucks are not that hard to achieve even if you'll have to be careful and sew slowly to get them right.

You can make it fully lined ( except for the arms) or like me just with a lined bodice.

It's a very nice dress and you'll like sewing it.
