My Wedding Dress: The making of
by Fickle Sense Follow

Earlier this year I got married to my best friend in a DIY wedding. It was hard work, but completely satisfying to see the end result. Being an avid sewer, I just HAD to make my dress, the bridesmaid dress and the grooms suit. This is my dress:) A salmon pink gown. I just loved it. The 3 necessities for the dress were low back, non white and 1920/1930s inspired.

I am documenting the whole process on my blog fickle sense

  • The back of the dress was a major design detail. I used this vintage brooch to accentuate the beauty of the back.

You made the dress AND the bridesmaid dress AND the groom's suit? AND planned a wedding? You're wonder woman. And your dress is so gorgeous, love how the fabric flows. Lovely.
