I’m a sewing enthusiast.. or maybe fanatic ;) I first started sewing back at the tender age of 7. I still remember my first project, a simple sleeveless white cotton top and skirt with green rick-rack trim and iron on shamrock appliqués (in honor of 4-H for which I was doing the project). I hated it so much I swore off ever sewing again! Well, obviously the resolution didn’t stick and I’ve been sewing now for over 20 years! I’ve sewn historical costuming, wedding dresses, fitted cloth diapers, waldorf dolls, layette, quilts, toys, but my most recent passion has been children’s clothing. I love finding the marriage between pattern and fabric to create the perfect outfit for my babes.

Basically, here’s the gist about me; I have two sweet children for whom I love to make handcrafted treasures. We live in the beautiful state of Montana.
