Made on a size 9 pointed toe last. Teardrop heel 1/2” Upper made from a herringbone wool that I had made a jacket from and a pink kidskin lining. Vegetan sole with a neoprene heel.
Recap
Master pattern and upper and lining patterns
Patterns
Texon board which is a fancy type of cardboard designed specifically for shoes molded to make heel counters
Texon counters
Drawing the design onto the last which has been covered in masking tape. This is carefully cut off and transferred to cardboard to make a pattern for the shoe
The upper and lining have been sewn together and the upper pulled over and lasted to create the shoes shape.
The materials chosen for the upper was pink herringbone wool left over from a tailored jacket I had made and some pink kidskin leather
