Blue Leather Ballet Flats
by Jodie // Scared Stitchless Follow

6 months ago I bought a whole hide to make myself a bag and matching pair of shoes. Since taking an online shoemaking course I'm proud to say I've achieved it!

These are my first pair of shoes made after following the classes and I can't wait to make some sandals and boots as well as some more ballet flats too!

More details up on my blog.

A dremmel (I use a cheap one from Harbor Freight) will be a game changer when it comes to finishing the soles. I learnt almost everything I know about shoes from Sveta.

I love how creative people can be.  It's great to bounce ideas off of eachother!  You did an amazing job.  Keep up the good work.

I'm amazed! Shoes look fabulous. It makes me want to learn and try to make a pair too.

There's quite a few materials required to learn shoemaking but once you've got it all you're faced with endless possibilities - it's wonderful!
