using acquired yarn gifted from a friend to make a nice striped garter stitch cardi.
finally have some finished pictures.
here’s the scoop: worked from the top down with a slim saddle shoudler, raglan shaping, stockinette stitch “seams” for shoulder increases carried on through down the sleeves to the cuffs (you can sort of see the lines in one of the sleeve pictures), worked down to the hem which ends at about hip length, waist shaping. Extra long sleeves so i can tuck my hands up inside. Buttonband worked after the sleeves. Buttonband, cuffs, hem and neckline all worked with yarn held doubled.
1 inch buttons finished this baby off.
Still debating on adding the swatch somewhere for a fun big pocket.
the noro made such lovely colorful stripes in this sweater with minimal fussing on my part.
